Liminal Space (Ondine) is a transmedia performance reimagining the myth of Ondine, a feminine archetype whose evolution from folklore to the present attests to the survival and plasticity of myths. Blending post-dramatic theater and immersive film-concert, the work features a solo performer whose body becomes both vessel and generator of images. The narrative traces the metamorphosis of a young girl who finds refuge in a liminal world of strange monsters, ultimately becoming a chimera herself. Exploring presence, transformation, and survival in contemporary visible spaces, the piece responds to specific and universal violences: a story that takes place online or a thousand years ago, it reshapes the stage into a transitory, haunted, and timeless space.
